Our community is already oversaturated, with approximately 20+ existing liquor stores within just a four-mile radius. We are not opposed to community development; rather, we are opposed to the wrong kind of development. Adding another establishment of this kind does not meet a community need—it ignores it. It is time to advocate for decisions that uplift, rather than undermine, our neighborhoods.
